Description
EAC Language Centres are one of the UK's biggest and most successful, British Council Accredited, vacation course operators for juniors in the UK.
During the months of June to August, we look forward to welcoming around 13,000 students to our Summer centres, located nationwide.
EFL teachers are required to plan and deliver fun, relevant and educational lessons for our Young Learners.
You will be provided with a syllabus and appropriate learning materials to enable you to do this effectively, you will also be given support of the Director of Studies and will be expected to attend 1 Teachers meeting per week which may include some INSET training for your own development.
All teachers are contracted for 30-40 hours per week (depending on which programme you are teaching) over 5 days per week comprising:
Zigzag Programme - 30/40 teaching hours per week, usually Monday to Friday
Except in unusual or exceptional circumstances, classes are taught 5 days a week, Monday to Friday (mornings and afternoons).
Non-Zigzag Programme - 15/20 teaching hours per week
plus
15 hours per week for leading excursions, supervising activities, transfers and any other duties deemed reasonable and necessary by the Centre Manager/ Director of Studies
Competitive salary starting at £300 + holiday pay + accommodation

Requirements
All applicants must meet industry standard required qualification levels and as a minimum hold the following:
Degree plus recognised qualification in EFL teaching such as CELTA/ Trinity TESOL or equivalent.
Applicants without a degree but who hold a relevant EFL teaching qualification and experience may be considered.
Applicants holding overseas EFL qualifications will be asked to provide details of course content/ syllabus for verification purposes.
