Description
Owned and operated by Sedbergh School, Sedbergh International Summer School is set amongst the beautiful countryside of the Yorkshire Dales National Park with access to outstanding facilities, historic buildings and an exceptional range of outdoor activities. We have an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic, experienced and CELTA/Trinity qualified teachers to join our team. This exclusive course caters to the individual student and delivers 24 hours of taught English per week with a maximum class size of 15 students aged 10-16.
Essential:
Must be a native speaker of English
A degree level qualification and a TEFL qualification (Trinity or CELTA)
A minimum of 1 full-time year of EFL teaching experience with young people
Highly regarded:
A PGCE
Previous experience in a Summer School and/or a boarding school
The course runs from 8 July to 4 August 2012 with a mandatory 2 day induction on 6 and 7 July and applicants must be available for the full duration of the course. The position is residential with accommodation and all meals provided and one day off each week.
